During sleep the body regenerates the energy we need to power our bodies.

It is essential for a healthy life to get an adequate amount of sleep in a well ventilated room
(see clean air) without excessive noise disturbance.

4 or 5 hours of sleep per night does not fulfill this requirement.

Be sure to have your last meal approximately 2 1/2 hours before you go to bed to ensure a good nights rest.

Your last meal before you go to sleep should be no later than 8 p.m. Eating after 8 p.m. interferes with our circadian rhythm.

Alcohol and caffeine intake also interfere with good sleep.

When you wake up after a good nights sleep your body has all the energy it needs for the day. Remember not to use up a lot of that energy with eating a huge breakfast (see when to eat).
